In the six weeks Holidays we are hoping to hold some SJ training evenings. During these evenings we will be looking for anybody open to join our SJ team!

The Worksop and District saddle club ended a successful 2008 by winning its first jumping team event. Junior committee member Olivia Pack organised the team which was Olivia Pack on J.2.0, Polly Mallender on Emma's Star, Laura Myers on Monty and Abigail Shaw on Noble .
The event, which was organised by Selby and District riding club, was held at Ledston equine clinic in West Yorkshire. It was very well attended by a number of prominent riding clubs.
The format was a 75cm course for the first round, then an 85cm course which was timed.
Worksop 'Tinsel Totties' were the only team to go double clear but also insured their victory when Abigail Shaw had the fastest clear time, which was a very impressive 25.3 seconds!
All four girls, their horses and their families thoroughly enjoyed a well organised day, and would like to thank Selby riding club.
W.D.S.C are hopeful that they will continue this success in 2009 and increase its number of teams
